Most of what we've written about lives an hour north, along the Shore and in Monmouth County. But a good part of our delivery van's mileage has always come from the other direction — down the Turnpike and across to Camden and Burlington County, where Cherry Hill, Moorestown, Haddonfield and Voorhees have quietly become some of our most consistent repeat-client towns. This guide is the one we should have written a year ago: what a South Jersey booking looks like, which local details matter, and how delivery from our base near the Shore actually works.

South Jersey birthdays have their own rhythm. Tree-lined streets in Haddonfield and Moorestown mean charming but tight driveway access; Cherry Hill's newer developments mean big, flat backyards built for exactly this kind of setup; and the whole region leans toward a slightly more low-key, family-first style of party than some of our North Jersey bookings — more backyard, fewer tents, more grandparents on folding chairs at the edge of the lawn watching the kids at their own little table.

Why South Jersey families book a dedicated kids' table

The math is the same everywhere, but it matters more in a full backyard: a proper kid-height table with real chairs keeps eight to sixteen children in one contained, photogenic spot instead of scattered across the patio with paper plates balanced on their knees. It also solves the layout problem that comes with a full extended family — South Jersey birthdays tend to run larger on the adult side (aunts, uncles, grandparents from both sides of the family often live within twenty minutes of each other here), which means the adult table needs its footprint back. Cherry Hill and Voorhees: big backyards, easy access

Moorestown and Haddonfield are two of the prettiest towns we deliver to — and two of the ones where we plan the setup most carefully. Older homes here often mean narrower driveways and a walk from the curb to the backyard, so if your street has tight parking or a shared driveway, mention it when you book and we'll plan extra setup time rather than rush it. Both towns are full of the kind of wraparound porches and mature-tree backyards that make our Atelier Rattan collection look especially at home — natural woven chairs photograph beautifully against a Haddonfield Victorian in a way bright plastic never will.

Marlton and Mount Laurel: newer developments, bigger groups

Marlton and Mount Laurel's newer developments tend to host larger parties — more square footage, bigger patios, and neighborhoods where half the block gets invited. If you're planning for 20 or more children, our dessert cart pairs naturally with a bigger table run; it gives the party a second visual anchor beyond the kids' table itself and keeps the dessert line from bottlenecking around the birthday cake.
